Most of us have a wardrobe full of clothes and still stand there, running late, with nothing that feels right. So we go the other way — a small, considered edit of dresses and easy pieces that actually earn their space on the rail.

We’re picky on your behalf. We’re after the midi that skims instead of clings, the maxi you can wear to a summer wedding and then to Sunday lunch, knitwear soft enough to live in. If a piece creases the second you sit down, or the colour looks nothing like the photo, it doesn’t make the cut. What’s left is a tight collection of things that work hard, flatter a real range of shapes, and slip straight in with the clothes you already own.
